Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & Eligibility

Trips are by invitation only. Your booking is only confirmed once you receive an official invitation from Femme Getaway and complete the required deposit. Any payments made without an invitation will be deemed invalid. Any payment made without an invitation will not be recognized, and FG will not be held responsible for any associated errors or misunderstandings.​

2. Payments

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 40% is required within 48 hours of receiving your official invitation. Failure to make this payment may result in the cancellation of your booking.

• Remaining Balance: Prices start from £1,899 per person. The remaining balance can be paid in two instalments, with the final due no later than eight (8) weeks before departure. Kindly notify us after completing any payment so we can confirm receipt.

• Payment details, including bank transfer instructions, will be sent via email with your booking confirmation. Please include your full name and the name of the trip you are booking when making electronic payments.

• Extras: Optional extras (e.g. airport pick-ups, hassle-free taxi services, room upgrades) must be paid four (4) weeks prior to departure upon agreement with a FG representative.

3. Travel Documents

Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six (6) months after your intended return date. You are responsible for securing all necessary visas for your destinations and transit locations.

4. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking to cover potential cancellation fees, accidents, or unforeseen circumstances. Please confirm that your insurance includes coverage for cancellations, medical care, personal belongings, adventure activities.

5. Room Sharing

All trips include shared accommodation. Pairings are made based on age, trip dynamics, and availability. While we aim for thoughtful matches, we are not responsible for compatibility issues. Private rooms are not available on standard packages.

6. Activities & Risk

Participation in activities is at your own risk. FG is not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from optional excursions or equipment use.​

7. Activity Conditions

Outdoor activities may be affected by weather or environmental conditions. No refunds are given if conditions prevent participation.

 

8. Behaviour & Responsibilities

We reserve the right to remove any guest due to: Alcohol or drug misuse, Unsafe or disruptive behaviour or Ignoring staff instructions. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

9. Photography & Media Consent

By attending a Femme Getaway, you grant us permission to use photos or videos of you taken during the trip across all platforms (website, social media, promotional content).
If you prefer not to appear, please let us know in writing before departure.

10. Minimum Group Size

Trips require a minimum of four (4) participants. If this number isn't met, FG may cancel and issue full refunds. Please avoid non-refundable travel bookings until we confirm your trip is going ahead.​

11. Cancellations & Refunds

• Deposits are non-refundable

• For cancellations made more than 40 days before the arrival date, we will refund additional payments (beyond the deposit), less any applicable bank or transaction fees.

• Cancellations made within 40 days of arrival will result in forfeiture of the total booking amount.

• No refunds are provided for early checkouts or no-shows.

• In the rare event that FG must cancel a trip due to insufficient participant numbers or other unavoidable reasons, you will receive a full refund.

12. Force Majeure

FG is not liable for delays, cancellations, or added costs due to events outside our control (e.g. natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, severe weather).

13. Special Requests

We do our best to accommodate dietary or medical needs, but cannot guarantee all requests.

14. Third-Party Services

FG is not responsible for third-party services that were not included in the original package such as airlines, personal insurance, or local transport providers.

15. Complaints or Disputes

Please raise any issues with your trip leader as soon as possible. Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within seven (7) days of your return. Complaints received after this may not be reviewed.

16. Liability Disclaimer

FG is not liable for: personal injury, loss, or damage unless due to our negligence, delays, missed connections, lost property.
By booking, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with travel and activities.

17. Ownership & Copyright

All content on the FG website is owned by FEMME GETAWAY LTD or its suppliers. You may not copy, distribute, or modify it without written permission.

18. Acceptable Use

You may only use our website for lawful purposes. You must not: Attempt to hack or disrupt the website, Upload defamatory or harmful content. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.

22. Insurance & Legal Protection

Femme Getaway is a fully registered and insured business under UK law.
We are fully insured under the UK Travel Package Regulations, ensuring that your booking and payments are completely protected.

As a traveller, you are fully protected against financial insolvency through our comprehensive travel package insurance.
In addition, we also hold a dedicated Tour Operators Liability Insurance, providing extra protection and peace of mind for all our guests.

23. Agreement 

By booking a trip with Femme Getaway, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the participant and Femme Getaway and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

 

24. Updates

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of our website or services implies acceptance of the latest version.
